Management of tasks is very different to leading people. Many Tech Leaders are fully competent as managing tasks, yet have not had the exposure or experience to grow as leaders of people. I work with Tech Leaders to build people-leadership capabilities and understanding.
We use the GROW model developed by Sir John Whitmore as a framework for our coaching. This framework is easy to understand and offers a path to change and improvements.
Our coaching approach typically takes 3 to 6 sessions with individuals, or groups of up to 6, to map common goals and track actions to achievement of these goals.
The coaching often focusses on communication effectiveness, active listening, emotional intelligence and career coaching, but is tailored to the needs of the individual or group.
Our coaching is typically delivered by Michael Clark, who has decades of leadership experience, including five years as a CIO. Michael has led award-winning teams and projects, and understands the challenges of building influence for IT Leaders.
